Position Summary:
The Senior Software Asset Management (SAM) Consultant (L3) should be highly specialized IT governance and a licensing expert. Expert in overseeing complex software license compliance (Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM), and lead strategic audits, cost optimizations for global clients.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires extensive experience in managing SAP license management, understanding the products of SAP from a licensing perspective, including understanding agreements, licensing mechanisms, various metrics, and rules.
Lead software license reconciliation and baseline calculations for tier-1 vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Adobe, VMware, Red Hat).
Reviewing existing license contracts and usage data to ensure compliance with licensing terms.
Analysing user access patterns to recommend appropriate license types.
