Newbury Racecourse is an award‑winning sporting venue with a multi‑functional site playing host to c. 30 racedays per year, plus a wide range of other exciting non‑racing events including: concerts, weddings, conferences, on‑site hotel and our award‑winning Rocking Horse Nursery.

Responsibilities

• Proactively represent Newbury Racecourse Conference & Events business to existing and potential clients
• Proactively generate new leads to build and enhance the existing customer portfolio
• Prepare detailed and accurate proposals
• Produce contract documents in a timely manner
• Manage the events diary and ensure the booking system is updated in real time to allow for accurate sales forecasting
• Answer incoming enquiries via phone and email ensuring excellent customer service standards
