Available at agreed times during the sessions for surgery consultations and telephone advice.
All face‑to‑face consultations in the surgery; expected to carry out a fair share of home visits on days worked.
Advice patients on general health, diet, exercise, smoking, alcohol consumption, and drug misuse.
Arrange vaccination or immunisation against infectious diseases per national guidelines and policies.
Refer where appropriate for other services under the NHS Act and to other agencies such as Social Services.
Provide contraceptive services in accordance with Para 29 of the National Health Service (GMS) Regulations 1992.
