We are currently seeking to appoint a Roadworker 2 within Highways to support the Service Managers in the provision of responsive and planned highway maintenance works and other highway functions for the effective and efficient delivery of the service.

The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the team to deliver a high standard of service and demonstrate the ability to carry out all aspects of repairs and or replacement both in reactive works and planned schemes on the highway.

Duties and responsibilities include:

To be able to work to precise levels, specification, and show good workmanship in construction related tasks. This will include, but not be exclusive to, setting out, drain laying, trench timbering, manhole construction, reinforced concrete, laying precast concrete products, laying of tarmac, gulley cleansing and graffiti removal.
