WSP has upcoming municipal roadway and utility upgrade projects across several communities in Nova Scotia. This work directly supports safer, more sustainable local infrastructure—improving how residents move, connect, and access essential services.

In this role, you will join our team as a Road Construction Technician – Ticket Collector, a trusted on‑site representative helping ensure quality, compliance, and safe delivery across multiple municipal construction projects.

This is a temporary position for approximately 4 months in Cape Breton, NS.

Responsibilities

• Collect weigh scale tickets from truck drivers delivering materials to the site.
• Track and organize tickets for trucks loading and hauling materials such as gravel, dirt, and asphalt.
• Record truck details, material types, and quantities accurately.
• Summarize tickets and compile daily material quantity records.
