Shift: 36 hours per week, 7a-7:30p, Straight 12 Hour Shifts
PURPOSE
The RN is responsible for coordinating and directing the delivery of competent patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. In caring for a patient population which may include the newborn, toddler, adolescent, adult, and the elderly, the RN identifies the special needs of the patient's age group and respective level of growth and development, and plans the care accordingly. The RN directs the implementation of the Plan of Care through performance and/or coordination of the activities of other members of the health care team.
