Position Purpose:

The Preop/PACU department at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s averages about 30 cases per day. The registered nurse would expect to see pre-surgical and post-surgical care cases. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:2 in the PACU and a new patient can be expected in preop every hour.
