**Position Purpose:**

The Surgery Department at Mount Carmel East has 13 operating rooms with 3 of those rooms dedicated to trauma. Surgical specialties include Level II Trauma care, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Neurosurgery (Cranial and Spinal), General Surgery, ENT, GYN, Dental, Plastics, Colorectal, and Robotic Surgery. They average 25 cases per day and care for the adult patient population. The department is staffed 24-7-365 and focuses heavily on work-life balance. **The schedule is Saturdays 0700-1930 and Sundays 0700-1930.** Previous OR/Inpatient Surgery/Circulator experience is preferred.
