Responsibilities The TEMP Psych RN provides nursing care to patients on each clinical unit as assigned, utilizing the nursing process. Patient population serviced includes both adolescents and adults.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Utilizing the nursing process, the RN develops an initial nursing treatment plan for each admitted patient.Competent in assessing, planning, and delivering care for patients with co-occurring disorders.The nurse continually assesses and reassesses the patient’s medical and psychiatric status and changing needs.Participates with other team members in planning and implementing the patient’s treatment plan.Directs and participates with other personnel in maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.Assists with discharge planning and works with patient’s discharges.
