Registered Nurse - Adult Medical Oncology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 5 days a week, 7.5 hours per day (08:00 - 16:00).

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care in adult medical oncology, managing patients with various medical conditions including GI, GU, Breast, Head and Neck, Neuro, Thoracic cancers, as well as GYN oncology and classic hematology conditions. Responsibilities will include performing patient assessments, administering treatments, and conducting specialized procedures.

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate care needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform bone marrow biopsies and other oncological procedures.
• Manage care for patients undergoing hormonal therapy and colostomy care.
• Document patient care activities utilizing Epic charting system.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and treatment plans.
