Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with variable start times of 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, or 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• Holiday requirement of at least 2-3 shifts for winter needs, otherwise every other holiday during the contract
• Volunteer to go home without pay in lieu of call or standby requirements
• Floating to inpatient unit for helping hands may be required
• Dress code: Any solid color scrubs, clean and professional appearance required
• 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Must have Michigan nursing license in hand prior to assignment
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
• Trauma Level IV facility treating 40-60 patients per day on average
