Job Details:
• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically within critical care and acute care cluster
• Every 2-3 weekends required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday rotation)
• Every other holiday required
• On-call pickup is permitted but not required; 1-hour response time if picking up call
• Unit may low census in 4-hour increments; travelers may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 12-bed Cardiac ICU managing post-op hearts, AMI, cardiogenic shock, induced hypothermia, and basic CICU cases
• Patient ratios: 2:1 for CRRT, 1:1 for Impella
• Frequent cardioversions, line placements, and line discontinuations performed in unit
