Supervise and participate in the mechanical maintenance and repair of all engines and equipment on assigned rig covering diesel engines, air compressors, pumps, draw works, and B.O.P. Includes servicing, diagnosing faults, diverting and/or carrying out necessary repairs. Liaise with Maintenance Superintendent/Engineer in planning and scheduling preventive maintenance program.

• Ensure daily and weekly routine maintenance is performed by checking logs and identifying anomalous situations such as excessive use of lube oil, coolant or fuel, initiating investigation to establish and remedy the cause.
