Job Summary:

The RCM AR Collections Specialist is responsible for managing accounts receivable activities within the healthcare revenue cycle process. This role focuses on insurance follow-up, claims resolution, denial management, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from insurance companies and payers.







Responsibilities

Perform insurance follow-up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims

Review accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize accounts for resolution

Contact insurance companies to verify claim status and payment details

Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies

Submit corrected claims and appeals with appropriate documentation

Ensure timely reimbursement and minimize outstanding AR balances
