Research Investigator

The Division of Transplant Surgery and The Transplant Surgery Research Laboratory at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a highly qualified PhD research investigator with expertise in molecular and cellular biology in immunology, aging, or related fields, to work on clinical and experimental transplantation projects.

A focus of our work is on organ rejuvenation: perfusion/preservation and immunosenescence, as well as on cell signaling mechanisms that regulate organ aging and age-related immunity. The laboratory’s goal is to delineate critical drivers of aging and to bring novel approaches of organ rejuvenation to clinical application. There is also a focus on dissecting mechanisms in aging and their effects on alloimmunity, striving to bring age-specific treatments to clinical application.
