We're looking for a forward-thinking and experienced Director of R& D; to lead our innovation efforts in organic agriculture.
This role will oversee the development of new vegetable varieties, optimize production practices, and manage a small but talented R& D; team.
The goal is to enhance crop quality, improve yield, and drive sustainable farming through science and technology.
Key Responsibilities Lead the R& D; strategy and manage a team of 3 specialist/technicians.
Develop new organic vegetable varieties with better yield, flavor, and shelf life.
Improve post-harvest quality and create business cases for new products.
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Production teams to align R& D with company goals.
Identify and implement solutions for pest control, nutrition, and crop sustainability.
Test and adopt emerging technologies like AI, automation, and precision agriculture.
