Overview Research Associate (GIS & Spatial Analytics) – leading geospatial modelling and validation work for the NParks MCCS project on community resilience against sea‑level rise. The project is funded by the National Parks Board under the Marine Climate Change Science Coastal Protection call and brings together the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.
Responsibilities - GIS-based mapping of resident and business archetypes across Singapore (Module B).
- Spatial analysis of sea‑level rise vulnerability zones overlaid with archetype distributions.
- Geospatial validation of agent-based simulation outputs (Module D).
- Contribution to project reports, conference presentations, and top‑tier journal publications.
Requirements - Master’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
