We are seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer to join the NTU-Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) Corporate Lab. The successful candidate will lead the development and integration of advanced optical sensing and machine vision systems for Body-in-White (BIW) surface inspection in automotive manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and integrate optical sensing and machine vision systems for surface defect inspection.
Support the setup, calibration and validation of imaging and measurement platforms.
Conduct experiments, analyse system performance and recommend technical improvements.
Collaborate with researchers, industry partners and vendors on system development and implementation.
Develop testing protocols, maintain technical documentation, and prepare project reports and presentations.
