Job Overview LKC Medicine is recruiting a Research Assistant to work on a project investigating how gut microbiota influences cardiometabolic disease. The role focuses on bacterial metabolism, diet‑microbe and microbe‑microbe interactions using anaerobic bacterial physiology, metabolomics, metagenomics, and gnotobiotic mouse models.
Responsibilities - Participate and contribute to the research project, involving microbiology, immunology, and molecular biology.
- Support students and staff on projects.
- Maintain laboratory standard operating procedures and detailed records for lab and administrative work.
- Procure supplies for the laboratory and support research needs.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Biology or related fields.
