The Atmospheric Chemistry group in HKUST focus onthe two major regional air pollution problems in many developed and developing regions, i.e., photochemical smog and haze. Our research is trying to understand the complicated air pollution matrix via field monitoring, lab experiments, and modeling approaches, and to conduct cutting-edge fundamental research on atmospheric chemistry. Collaborated with many international institutes and the Hong KongEnvironmental Protection Department, the group is working on various research projects, including ship-borne air quality measurement, oxygenated VOCs characterization, O3 and SOA formation, etc.

The Atmospheric Chemistry group is looking for a couple of individuals who will participate in field study, laboratory experiments, and data analysis of those air quality research projects.
