Position Summary

Professor Claude Bhérer’s Lab needs a Research Assistant 2 to support a collaborative research project on complex diseases through genetic epidemiology analyses.

Contract Period

June 22, 2026 – October 23, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses such as polygenic risk score construction and Mendelian randomization to investigate genetic contributions to disease risk and outcomes.
• Develop and implement scripts and scalable analytical workflows to support data processing and research activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, contribute to data interpretation, and support the generation of high-quality and reproducible research outputs.
• Write theoretical or methodological reports, papers or articles related to research activities.
