Engineer Reliability, Safety and Operations Job Description: Safety comes first in what we do at Airbus. The architecture of the different Aircraft Systems meet the highest safety requirements through rigorous engineering for a safe and optimized integration of aircraft. The design of these safety critical systems (like Fuel systems, Air conditioning System, Hydraulic System, Electrical System etc.) is highly iterative and is driven by Systems Engineering principles to ensure consistency and traceability. The System Safety Studies team ensures that the architecture design of these different systems conforms to the safety requirements and answers system safety assessment (SSA) done at various levels, thereby eliminating or mitigating failure effects that may result in Aircraft Level Catastrophic Condition.
