As a PACU RN you will assist with high acuity patients and enjoy the support of an awesome team! Our PACU at Baxter Regional Medical Center consists of 13 beds with 5 extended recovery beds. The Registered Nurses (RNs) on our team help to recover a wide variety of patients from pediatric to geriatric. Our cases include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurological, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Ear Nose Throat (ENT), Urology and Gynecological (GYN) procedures. Patient acuity is from basic care to intensive care. Our unit follows ASPAN and Hospital Standards. Our busy, fast paced unit has a 1:1 patient ratio with occasional 2:1.
