Position Summary Overview: Title: Registered Nurse Department: Med/Surg Neuro Site: Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital Location: St. Petersburg, Florida Schedule: Full-Time | Day shift | 3 12's The Registered Nurse administers patient care in an area in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting where an acute care patient receives active treatment for an injury, episode of illness, a medical condition, or post intervention with assessment. This floor is a fast paced, clinically intense unit that specializes in the care of many conditions of the brain, such as stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, head injuries, epilepsy, and other cognitive disorders. It is the area’s only Level 4 Epilepsy Center, using advanced video EEG monitoring to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Ratios are 1:6, with Nursing Assistant Support and Charge RN support.
