As a Level III Perinatal Center, comprehensive patient centered obstetrical nursing care is provided for both low and high-risk families during the antenatal, labor and delivery and immediate postpartum periods. The Labor and Delivery Unit (L & D) is composed of twenty eight (28) Labor and Delivery Rooms (LDRs) that provide the expectant family with the opportunity to remain together as a unit during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period.
