Registered Nurse - Rehab Unit - 36 hours per week - 12 hour day shift

Shift: Days 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with alternating weekend schedule

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

UNIT OVERVIEW:

36 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. This unit has a variety of patients (stroke, motor vehicle accidents, transplants) that require hospital-level care in conjunction with intensive rehabilitation by a team that consist of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech.
