MUST:
The Registered Nurse Manager should have the following:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse with 1+year of supervisory experience
Leading and overseeing staff and work- flow
Coaching and training staff
Ambulatory setting experience, perioperative/Preop/PACU experience Monitoring patient care
Providing clinical support
Comfortable starting and administering IV's
Implementing continuing quality
PACU experience
Ensuring compliance with
Infection prevention and patient safety protocols
BLS and ACLS Certified
DUTIES:
The Registered Nurse's duties include but are not limited to the following:
Initiate and administer IV's
Handle Pre-OP and Post Operative Care
Train and Lead staff
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
