Job Summary
The ICU Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced medical interventions. This role demands strong clinical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition. The RN collaborates with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitor patients’ vital signs, hemodynamic status, and responses to treatment.
Administer medications, fluids, and advanced therapies as prescribed.
Operate and manage life-support equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
