JOB SUMMARY Under the general direction of the Director of Nurses in the Care Center, the Registered Nurse will assist the DON and ADON with planning, coordinating and managing the RN clinical services for residents, and implement care as necessary and in accordance with TJC, federal, state, and local guidelines, organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Position communicates with medical staff, other departments, and outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality. Position requires self-motivation, creativity, and capabilities to function in a semi-autonomous role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE - Administers prescribed medication; operate medical equipment and monitor patient status; record patient information in medical records; assist physician with examinations and administers treatments.
