Job Purpose: 

To carry out all forms of care without direct supervision. Responsible for assessing planning, implementing and evaluating all aspects of resident care. 

Take charge when required in the absence of the Senior Nurse. Ensure the provision of health and social care for all residents, thus ensuring a happy, caring atmosphere is achieved and maintained. 

Professional:

1. To assess, plan, implement and evaluate all forms of resident care and document appropriately in Care Plans. 
2. Ensure that all residents receive the care identified in the care plans. 
3. To give any medication as prescribed, with proper monitoring of the drug/s, dose/s, time/s, route/s and resident/s administered to.
