ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT at NCH

Adult Oncology Department is a 21 bed unit at our Downtown Baker campus that delivers care to a diverse patient population who are recently diagnosed with an oncology diagnosis and for those who are at various phases of their disease process. Nursing care consists of administration and management of Chemotherapy regimens, blood administration, pain management, spiritual/ emotional support, and palliative care, while promoting nutrition within a healing environment. Our unit’s culture endorses compassionate care to our patients and their loved ones we serve.
