Summary This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Cooperative Threat Reduction Directorate (CT). Responsibilities As a REGIONAL COOPERATIVE ENGAGEMENT OFFICER at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: As the Regional Cooperative Engagement Officer, works with U.S. Embassy Country Teams, engaging host government officials, and facilitating execution of all DTRA programs and strategies in the region and under the auspices of the country and regional engagement plans. Coordinates directly with DTRA Program/Project Managers who oversee projects in the region. As appropriate, advises the Chief of Mission and other senior U.S. government officials on non-proliferation issues. Directs a staff consisting of U.S. military field-grade officers; locally employed staff (LES), and Foreign Service national (FSN) program assistants.
