Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Location: Dieppe, NB

Pay Range: $40.19/hour ($49.06/hour after 4 months)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals.
• Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA)).
• Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager.
• Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers Qualifications.

Qualifications

• Certified Red Seal Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license.
