Summary The position is located within the Mid-Atlantic Region, Navy Facilities Engineering Command, Quality Recycling Program, Norfolk VA. The purpose of this position is to receive, identify, sort, and separate recyclables from non-recyclables, properly dispose of non-recyclable material, and document/prepare/transport recyclable materials in accordance with standard procedure. Responsibilities Performs all or some of the following duties as assigned: Receives materials from customers. Assists with pick-up and delivery and/or proper receipt of materials as directed. Separates recyclable material from non-recyclable material in accordance with standard procedures. Places recyclable and non-recyclable materials in proper storage and/or disposal areas.
