Design mechanical/electro-mechanical components using 3D CAD software (CATIA) for automotive interior body electronics products (e.g., Body Control Modules, Zone Controllers, Door Control Modules, Telematics Modules, High Performance Computing Units, Seat Control Units…).
· Develop mechanical drawings (customer, manufacturing, and supplier) according to worldwide standards and vehicle requirements as well as product function analysis.
· Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to all designs and drawings.
· Develop plastic injection and metal parts to automotive specifications with local and international teams.
· Perform tolerance studies for all assemblies to ensure the proper fit and function of components.
· Execute structural calculations for designs and verify the results by doing engineering testing.
