Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to provide health care services by applying x-ray energy to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions. The ideal candidate will perform medical imaging techniques and varied procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy, ensuring successful completion of the procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor consistent with medical ethics.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging procedures using appropriate imaging techniques.
• Assist in maintaining medical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to established policies.
• Take responsibility for the assigned area and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Provide practical instruction to students and other health care professionals.
• Participate in the department's quality assessment and improvement plan, including specific quality control duties in the assigned area.
