            ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   
Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures at level of Radiologic Technologist 2. 
 
 Is responsible for daily operational tasks such as: Patient flow, delegation of duties and assignment of tasks. 
 
 Participates in and/or completes performance appraisals and meets regularly with partners to provide feedback. 
 
 Maintains smooth and efficient workflow in the Diagnostic Radiology Department; is an active participant in scanning patients daily. 
 
 Responds to technical questions, concerns, and problems from Diagnostic Radiology and other Mercy staff, including physicians. 
 
 Troubleshoots equipment problems and coordinates with Manager and BioMed to ensure unplanned downtime is managed, 
 
 Ensures adequate par levels of supplies and linen; reorders as necessary.
