The Radiology Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols. This role ensures the safe operation of radiologic equipment, maintains compliance with safety and infection control standards, and supports the surgical and clinical teams by delivering timely and accurate imaging services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Provide quality imaging and fluoroscopic guidance during OR procedures
- Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed
- Prepare patients for radiology procedures and follow established clinical and regulatory procedures in regards to patient safety and care; including proper radiation protection and shielding techniques
