Duties


  • Provide radiation therapy to patients, ensuring precise and effective treatment.

  • Utilize ARIA and EPIC charting systems for accurate patient documentation.

  • Operate Varian 21 EX/iX equipment for treatment delivery.

  • Calculate and administer radiation doses using the Treatment Planning System, including Pinnacle and Eclipse.

  • Perform tumor localization and use beam modifying/positioning techniques.

  • Implement isolation precautions and adhere to radiation safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.



Skills


  • Experience with adult acute care pretreatment and external beam therapy.

  • Proficient in IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy).

  • Competency in custom molds, shields, and block cutting.
