Quantity Surveyor Rail – Manchester

Salary: £40,000 + pkg

Location: North West

Region: Manchester

We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor based in Manchester to work for a main civil engineering contractor on a permanent or contract basis. This will be working on a number of station upgrade projects, predominantly platforms across the North West Region, based in Manchester.

Candidate Requirements & Responsibilities Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management Previous Quantity Surveying experience, ideally on rail based projects Understanding of the NEC & NR forms of contract Autonomously undertake the CVR process Procurement of Sub Contractors Experience liaising with client Accurate forecasting and cost / value reporting Be aware of contractual requirements of the project Monitor and maximise cash flow
