Job description: Job Purpose
The Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing and enhancing quality processes to support equipment refurbishment and maintenance projects. This role ensures that all aspects of quality, reliability, and performance meet established standards independently. The Quality Engineer collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee that refurbished components and maintained systems comply with internal and customer quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Quality Control & Inspection:
Ensure proper process of buy-off inspections of parts, assemblies, or systems at various stages of production, utilizing industry-standard inspection techniques (e.g. visual inspection, functional testing). Track non-conformance reports filed during the buy-off process and develop and implement preventive action plans to mitigate recurring defects.
