The Quality Engineer (Product Safety Representative) will ensure that the Group Africa adheres to the legal obligation to ensure product safety to avoid risks of loss/damages to person or property that arise from the use of vehicle products.
Duties & Responsibilities Assisting in new projects with the establishment of Product Safety, targeting complete implementation of actions/corrective actions to vehicle safety requirements for the prevention of repeat failures using the Product Safety catalogue (lessons learnt). Inspecting pre-series units in conjunction with other Q-type responsible PSBs to expedite safety-relevant problem recognition and corrective action implementation.
