Overview

Provide support to the plant Quality function while acquiring fundamental engineering process knowledge and manufacturing quality competencies. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn within engineering, manufacturing, and technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dimensional inspections of injection moulded and stamped components and report findings in written inspection reports.
• Perform mechanical tests on components and assemblies and report results accurately.
• Provide input into part modification decisions considering product form and functional requirements.
• Calibrate production gauges and equipment and ensure calibration database is kept up-to-date.
• Update controlled documents and standard operating procedures.
• Support the site's internal ISO 9001 quality audit program as a trainee quality system auditor.
