Requirements

• Electrical Trade Certificate (Red Seal)
• National Certificate N3 (Electrical) or higher
• Valid driver's licence
• Minimum of 3+ years post-qualification experience
• Solar PV must be the primary area of expertise and work experience
• Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and safety standards
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required

Responsibilities

• Perform Solar PV installations, maintenance, and commissioning activities
• Install and commission inverters, battery storage systems, and PV arrays
• Conduct DC and AC electrical installations and fault-finding
• Complete cable routing, terminations, earthing, and protection system installations
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
