Pulmonary Sleep Outpatient - Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Newnan

Responsibilities:

Piedmont Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join the Piedmont Pulmonary and Sleep office in Newnan.This is a full-time outpatient position.

Key Responsibilities:

Ambulatory care responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

a.Functions as an independent provider in a busy Pulmonary office with MDs available to assist in evaluating complex patients as needed.

b.Takes patient histories, conducts physical examinations, writes progress notes, and develops appropriate treatment plans.

c.Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures including Chest X-rays, Chest CTs and Pulmonary Function testing. Explains necessity, nature, and results of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedure(s) to the patient.
