Clinic for mental health care and substance abuse has several full-time permanent positions available for psychiatrists in Haugesund, Stord, Valen and Odda. Our clinic is the largest in Helse Fonna with over 1000 employees. You will be working alongside other professionals such as specialists in psychology, psychiatric nurses, social workers, doctors in specialization and specialists in clinical pedagogy.
Our clinic has 4 different geographical locations. Haugesund psychiatric hospital has an emergency psychiatric care ward and a detoxication unit. Valen psychiatric hospital has 2 forensic physiatry wards, a psychosis treatment ward and an emergency psychiatry unit. Our 3 local psychiatric centers, Haugesund, Stord and Folgefonn, have both in-patient wards and out-patient clinics along with ambulatory care. All our doctors take part in on-call work in addition to their day job. There is also the opportunity of being involved in research.
