This is specialized, complex legal work in the maintenance of legal records and accounting records in the Prothonotary’s Office within the Civil and Family Court Divisions. Work is performed with little supervision and in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures. This position requires strong computer, math, reading comprehension and organizational skills. The ability to work with the general public, attorneys and other members of court staff in person and on the telephone is essential.
Qualifications
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required. Experience working in a legal office and performing clerical work preferred.
