Following the completion and successful commissioning of the approved swimming pool filtration pump modification works, several operational defects and maintenance issues were identified during system inspection and testing. The observations include leakage, abnormal noise, defective bearings, mechanical seal failures, and impeller damage in Swimming Pool Filtration Pumps No. 1 and No. 2. Additionally, a crack and leakage were identified in the multiport valve of Sand Filter No. 2. Civil-related defects were also observed, including missing pool tiles, deteriorated grouting, damaged overflow channel stones, and broken deck step tiles.
