Job Description
To manage property repairs and maintenance for the buildings and improvements at locations operated by the Manitoulin Group of Companies by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Initiate, plan, execute and monitor major and minor repairs and maintenance activities for buildings, site improvements and associated works at the company locations.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and other vendors providing services and materials for repair and maintenance work including identifying work required (planned and reactive); soliciting quotes and proposals; evaluating quotes and proposals; awarding contracts and issuing purchase orders; ensuring that required contracts and other documentation required is provided and properly maintained; processing invoices for payments; checking on quality of work provided.
