Job Definition

Under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor, this position concepts, plans, budgets and manages the successful delivery of Municipal capital projects. Responsibilities

Leads and assists in the development of project scopes, budgets, schedules and other planning. Assists in the development of 5-year capital plans and corporate strategic planning. Monitors expenditures against approved budgets and takes appropriate action to maintain a balanced project budgets. Acts as the Contract Administrator on select projects. Inspects capital project construction activities as required. Leads and assists in communication, outreach, and engagement activities to keep internal and external stakeholders involved and informed on assigned projects. Applies for applicable project grants and ensures all applicable grant requirements and reporting obligations are met.
